The Brandt Companies LLC is Texas’ premier provider of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system design, build, and maintenance services. Brandt is deeply committed to the community, the environment and our customers. Brandt cares – about sustainability, efficiency, safety and long-term success – for all of the people we touch. Brandt’s core values of Care, Integrity, Perseverance and Agility set us apart from our competition. With over 60 years of industry expertise, Brandt harnesses the combined power of more than 2,400 highly trained employees – industry leading craftsmen, licensed engineers, trained technicians and technology experts. Brandt is the largest MEP industry provider in Texas. Importantly, in keeping with our core values, we care, we are an “honest broker”, we play fairly, deal honestly, and are respected by our industry partners both unionized and non-unionized. We care about all of our customers, team members, partners, stakeholders, and communities we serve.

Brandt strives for ‘continual improvement’ and seeks regularly to recruit outstanding people to join our team. Brandt seeks to attract and hire a ‘world-class’ VP of Safety (VP Safety) to join us to help protect and serve the safety and risk management interests of our company, while serving our electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC, working on construction sites, and our regional locations throughout Texas. Our work environments include new building construction, industrial projects, specialty and renovation work, and commercial service. Our operating policies and safety standards protect our people and our clients, as we strive to do what is in the best interest of both.

Brandt’s new VP Safety will direct, develop, and oversee the general health and safety policies and procedures for our facilities, and the safety and risk management of our construction sites, vehicles, and equipment. Our VP Safety will ensure that our workplaces are in compliance with OSHA and other state, local, or industry specific regulations and that periodic safety audits are conducted. Our VP Safety will provide proactive and forward-looking programs that ensure a state-of-the-art safety workplace strategy and risk management program including safety orientations, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and the use of protective equipment, etc. The VP Safety will examine our current processes, and seek to improve our systemic process to collect data and analyze the causes of accidents and communicate improvement initiatives across the company. The VP Safety will work with the management team to implement initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards.  This VP Safety position is proactively supported by executive management not because of some accident or present safety issue, but rather because of Brandt’s commitment to safeguarding our employees, customers, vendors, and stakeholders while on our premises, and also because of our desire to lead the industry with world-class best practices, innovation, and solutions that improve safety and customer satisfaction.
